Er en stund siden Kreta-turen, og det HAR jo vært travelt.....
Vel, ferien var absolutt som forventet, TOPP !! Hotellet ( Villa Platanias ) var ett lite men koselig hotell, med ett lite (les middels) stort basseng. Rett utenfor hotellets område var stranda med små tavernaer tett i tett. De ble flittig besøkt hver dag når lunsjen skulle inntas ( både flytende og fast føde ). Når vi så ba om regningen, ble den servert sammen med den lokale drikken Raki og vannmelon. Stort sett kjempefornøyd med maten ( og drikken ). De var så lur at de oppbevarte ølglassene i fryseren, så det var rim på glassene når de kom med ølet. Herlig !!
Jeg har ikke nevnt frokosten, med god grunn; den er ikke verdt å kommentere. Utrolig kjedelig med ett elendig utvalg ! Vil ikke anbefale noen å forhåndsbestille frokost på DET hotellet nei !! To-tre sorter brød, og fire-fem sorter pålegg hver dag i 2 uker !!! Blæh !!
Etter stekingen ved bassenget var det tid for å gå til leiligheten rundt klokken fem. Da var det dusjing, smøring og øl/konjakk med påfølgende sløving på senga i brisen fra air-conditionen. Dette pågikk til ca kl. åtte. Da var det tid for å gå ut på "byen" for å finne kveldens heldige utvalgte resturant. Vi fikk da prøvd endel av dem, men fikk ganske snart noen favoritter !! Den ene av dem, Platanias Palace, lå midt oppe i ås-siden med en utrolig utsikt over hele platanias + Agia marina. Rask servering og kjempegod mat, bl.a. lam i rødvinsaus som jeg absolutt vil anbefale til alle som har tenkt seg til platanias !!
Platanias-området blir nok besøkt flere ganger, men med ett annet hotell som utgangspunkt...Slenger med noen bilder denne gangen også.
